Please be on time. Punctuality is an important value for children to learn. Try not to have children waiting on the playground too early, especially in cold or wet weather. Children enter school at 8.50 a.m. but should not enter the playground until 8.45 a.m. as the teachers and governors cannot be responsible for their welfare and safety before this time.
With young children, arrangements for collection are vitally important. Make sure they understand them and, should you be delayed, please give us a ring. The school operates a pre-school club known as the "Rainbow Breakfast Club." This operates from 7.45am to 8.45am. Please contact the school office for more information.
At the end of the day, children from KS1 will be escorted to the playground. The children from Classes 3 to 5 will be escorted by their class teachers to the KS2 playground where they can be collected. The children of Class 6 are allowed to leave the school by themselves. We would ask that parents do ensure their children are supervised once collected. Any child not collected by 3.25pm will be returned to the main school office. We do urge parents to collect their children at the correct time. If you are delayed in any way please contact the school office.
